Dr. Mushayandebvu specializes in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, Gynecology and Oncofertility. He is the Founder of Hudson IVF in Jersey City, New Jersey. His practice is affiliated as a satellite with the University Reproductive Associates in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey.

Professionally, the doctor is affiliated with several hospitals and medical centers in the area, including St. Barnabas Medical Center, Jersey City Medical Center, Trinitas Medical Center, St Michael’s Medical Center, Hoboken University Hospital, Hudson Regional Hospital, and Christ Hospital. Alongside his clinical role, he serves as an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. He is also the Medical Director of the Hasbrouck Heights Surgery Center in Hasbrouck Height New Jersey.

Dr. Mushayandebvu graduated with a GCE A level from Plymouth College of Further Education in Plymouth, England. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from the University of Zimbabwe, an LRCP & LRCS (Scottish Triple Qualification - equivalent to MD) from the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons in Edinburgh, Scotland, and an MD degree from the University of the State of New York (Board of Regents). 

He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University College of Physician and Surgeons, Harlem Hospital Center in New York. This was followed by a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School in Newark, under the auspices of Drs Gerson Weiss and Nanette Santoro.

Dr. Mushayandebvu is triple board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery. Dr Musha is in the first group of gynecologists in the US to obtain board certification in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery (MIGS). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing Obstetricians and Gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) is a surgical subspecialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology that trains physicians in reproductive medicine addressing hormonal functioning as it pertains to reproduction, as well as the issue of infertility. While most REI specialists primarily focus on the treatment of infertility, Reproductive Endocrinologists are trained to also evaluate and treat hormonal dysfunctions in females. Oncofertility is an interdisciplinary field at the intersection of Oncology and Reproductive Medicine that expands fertility options for cancer survivors. 

Dr. Mushayandebvu is a member of numerous professional organizations including the Endocrine Society, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the AmericanSociety of Gynecologic Oncology.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.  Dr Musha is also a member of the Oncofertility Consortium at Michigan State University (MSU).

He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
